Full and partial suspensions are impossible without good up-line handling. This class will be an opportunity to learn (and drill) safe lock-offs for up-lines in suspension bondage. We will be practicing up-lines for both bamboo and ring/carabiner scenarios. We highly recommend this class if you have already started suspending or are thinking about including suspension in your rope practice.

You will need max two 8m, 5-6mm diameter ropes for this workshop and safety shears. If you don’t have your own rope, you can use our class rope.

About your teacher:

Astrid has been tying and teaching informally since 2016, creating Embodiment Rope Space and her private rope hustle (www.desirelinesbondage.com) in 2021. She has had the privilege of training with a number of international educators over the years, with most of her experience in tying Kinoko’s style TK and suspensions. She sees her rope practice as an on-going journey of learning and discovery. She believes that rope is an unparalleled tool for revealing the parts that we keep hidden.
