Kink 101 | Ms Kitten and Desire Lines Bondage

We invite you to a respectful and gently held space to learn about kink. We assume no prior knowledge and will explain kink from our point of view, with plenty of time for any and all questions.


Session 1: Consent, Negotiation and Developing a Kink Skill Set

As our bodies and minds change, so do our sexual responses, and we may need to do things differently. We want new experiences. Sex education is a journey: it can help us unlearn toxic patterns from childhood, shame and stigmas around STIs, and improve on non-existent sex ed classes at school, which often had a narrow definition.

Introduction to consent and communication.
How to conduct yourself in kink spaces, and the importance of community in kink.
Trust and intimacy exercises.
Practical with Saran Wrap and tape. We will be using mummification to explore and develop these principles.

Session 2: Rope Bondage 101

We will be using rope as a medium to further explore some of these concepts, and give you a practical skill to walk away with.

How do we navigate consent and boundaries in rope?
How do we co-create a healthy space for play?
How do we negotiate a tying session?
How do we tie within our skill level?

This session will impart some technical tying skills and information about getting started in a rope practice, as well as practical exercises to explore these questions.
